Refillable markers

I'm still painting whimsical flowers but mixing things up. This time I started with a base of pastel scribbles and matte medium. Following layers were a mix of heavy body, fluid and high flow acrylics and glazes. I used high flow acrylics in refillable markers for doodles, as well as a dipping pen to draw the fine lines.

This new abstract is a mix of high flow and fluid acrylics embellished with fine lines from a Fineline applicator and a dipping pen.

Here's my latest mixed media floral arrangement. I used high flow acrylics and a dipping pen for the fine line work, and high flow acrylic in a refillable marker for the doodles on the vase.
